Katya Allen has been recruiting for Bay Area start-ups and established technology companies since the mid-90's. Prior to founding Olympic Search, Katya worked at Rod Asher and Associates, where she specialized in placing senior level engineering talent. Katya's recruiting philosophy is simple. Less is better. Katya really gets to know a job order and the hiring manager. She is able to weed through the weak candidates and only send along the best talent available. In her free time Katya is a volunteer for The Goodtimes Project, an organization which supports children dealing with cancer. She founded the Good Times for Goodtimes Wine Auction, which has raised more than $1 million for pediatric cancer patients and survivors. Katya speaks fluent German and can ask for beer in Spanish, French and Norwegian. She loves travelling to Europe and Mexico.
Prior to recruiting technical, business development and marketing professionals, David spent 10 years at the American Cancer Society, recruiting business executives for various volunteer committees and BODs. In 2007, David switched to recruiting for technology companies. He also continues to work with non-profit organizations as a recruiter, fundraising consultant and volunteer. David enjoys wine, travel and Katya's cooking and he is currently in training for a 100 mile back country hiking trip.
